Universal Life, Approximately Individualized

Simon Brown

Universal life, made manifest in such a way as to be visible to the human eye. Universal life, particularized, in a more or less universal way. Or rather an initially universal life, ambiguated, so as to seem ambiguous. Which is to say, what was previously thought to be universal life, universalized in such a manner so that it appears to be particular. Or perhaps, universal life that isn't so universal as all that. Universal, all-encompassing, generalized, non-specific, total and omnipresent life, sort-of remembered, transcribed, recontextualized, revised, delineated, segmented, quadrilateralized, eaten, digested and excreted, re-elevated, re-shaped, hidden behind form and ultimately given the appearance of universality. Which is to say, universal life, individualized.
